Originally acquired for its extraordinary setting—surrounded by protected woodland and overlooking the Brookhaven Hamlet Organic Garden—the property has been completely reimagined through a comprehensive architectural and interior renovation. Every aspect of the estate, from the main residence to the outdoor living spaces, was redesigned to create a refined yet deeply relaxed retreat immersed in nature.

Defined by soaring double-height ceilings, expansive walls of glass, and a seamless connection between indoors and out, Chapel Hollow embodies understated luxury, thoughtful craftsmanship, and timeless design.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Rather than creating a traditional vacation home, Guillaume envisioned Chapel Hollow as a modern legacy retreat—a home that celebrates gathering, creativity, and the quiet beauty of its surroundings. Natural materials, bespoke millwork, curated vintage pieces, contemporary furnishings, artisan objects, and original artwork are layered throughout the interiors, creating spaces that feel sophisticated without ever feeling formal. Every room was designed to encourage slow living, effortless entertaining, and year-round enjoyment.

THE ESTATE

At the heart of the property is a four-bedroom, four-bath main residence spanning approximately 3,200 square feet. As part of the transformation, the former pool house was completely rebuilt as a self-contained guest cottage, creating a second living experience within the estate. Together, the main house and guest cottage create a flexible compound equally suited for extended family stays, visiting friends, creative retreats, and intimate entertaining.

Outdoor spaces were redesigned as extensions of the architecture, with multiple dining and lounge areas, a swimming pool, fire pit, gardens, and landscaped grounds that encourage life to unfold outdoors throughout the warmer months.

THE COTTAGE

The cottage now includes a full kitchen, private bathroom, dedicated sleeping quarters, and an outdoor shower, offering guests complete privacy while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

A CURATED RENTAL EXPERIENCE

Unlike a conventional luxury rental, Chapel Hollow offers guests the opportunity to experience a fully realized frenchCALIFORNIA interior. Every room has been thoughtfully furnished with a curated mix of contemporary design, vintage finds, artisan-made objects, original artwork, and collected accessories. Seasonal styling, layered textures, and bespoke details create an atmosphere that feels personal, warm, and effortlessly elevated.

The estate is also available for select editorial productions, brand collaborations, and creative retreats.
