The Chef-in-Residence event was created to highlight local chefs in the DC area in a trendy and forward thinking apartment complex model residence.

On a rotating schedule, chefs from different restaurants give free online cooking classes to residents and locals on some of their signature dishes.

Using a well-designed model residence as their home base for the videos Union Heights was able to expand their reach to potential new residents and into the community.

In designing the kitchen and the space as a whole we wanted to make sure that the design felt comfortable to the chef as well as communicate to participants the feeling that they could live there too.
