"After rising to prominence as a top motorcycle racer in the 1920s, Loren "Hap" Jones opened his legendary motorcycle shop at this location in 1940. Over the following years it would grow to become an iconic par t of West Coast motorcycle culture, attracting riders from all over the country.
Though the shop no longer stands, his spirit of adventure and independence remains.“
